Honda CD 70 2025 Model becomes expensive! Updated bike prices after the budget 25-26

Atlas Honda has announced a significant price hike for its iconic Honda CD 70 2025 model, effective from July 1, 2024, following the Federal Budget 2024-25. The budget introduced higher import duties on raw materials like steel and spare parts, pushing the cost of locally assembled motorcycles upward. The Honda CD 70, Pakistan’s most beloved two-wheeler, now costs PKR 165,900, a PKR 8,000 increase from its previous price of PKR 157,900, sparking widespread frustration among consumers.
Price Comparison: Honda CD 70 Over the Years

- 2025 Model (Post-Budget, July 2024): PKR 165,900
- 2024 Model (Pre-Budget): PKR 157,900
- 2023 Model: PKR 154,900
- 2022 Model: PKR 94,900
The 2025 model’s price reflects a staggering 75% increase since 2022, driven by inflation, currency fluctuations, and new tax impositions. The budget’s rise in sales tax and import duties has hit the middle class hard, as the CD 70 remains a staple for daily commuters, students, and families across Pakistan.
What’s New in the Honda CD 70 2025?
Despite the price hike, the 2025 model offers no major upgrades. It retains the same 72cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine, delivering 60-65 km/l fuel efficiency under normal conditions. The only changes are cosmetic:
- New sticker designs on the fuel tank and side covers.
- Available in three colors: Red, Black, and Blue (introduced to mark Atlas Honda’s 60+ years in Pakistan).
Fans hoping for alloy wheels, a digital display, or improved ground clearance were left disappointed, with many calling the updates “just new patti” (stickers) .
