Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Scheme June Update– Online Registration Guide By Govt of Pakistan

Under the leadership of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab government has launched a housing initiative called Apni Zameen Apna Ghar. This initiative is aimed at providing free residential plots to deserving and homeless citizens across Punjab, giving them a chance to become landowners and secure a stable future.
The program is being administered by the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA), operating under the oversight of the Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department.
Key Features of the Scheme
- Free 3-Marla Plots
- Reserved for underprivileged and landless families in Punjab
- Phase 1 rollout includes 1,892 plots across 19 selected districts.
- The initiative aims to help economically disadvantaged families construct homes of their own.

Who Can Apply – Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this housing program, applicants must fulfill these conditions:
- Must hold permanent residency in Punjab and possess a valid CNIC
- Applications are permitted only for plots located within the applicant’s home district.
- The applicant, their spouse, and dependent children must not possess ownership of any residential property or plot anywhere in Pakistan.
- Must have no criminal background
- Applicants must not have any outstanding defaults with banks or financial institutions.
- All provided details must be truthful, as any false information may result in immediate disqualification.
Conditions for Plot Use – Terms of the Scheme
- Construction on the allotted plot must start within six months and be fully completed within a two-year timeframe.
- No sale, rental, or transfer of the plot is allowed for the first 5 years.
- Non-compliance with the specified terms may lead to the cancellation of the allotted plot after a 30-day official notice.
- Any misleading or false statement will cause plot revocation without compensation.
- Plot use is strictly for residential purposes.
- Using the plot for commercial purposes or carrying out unauthorized construction is strictly forbidden under the scheme’s rules.
- Disputes, if any, will be resolved by the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)
- PHATA reserves the right to inspect the site at any time and initiate action in case of violations
